Seeing that the park is around for only 3 days, I set up a photo op stand in the 2 Million Picos theme area.  Our usual 3-some seemed pretty popular, and got a nice share of Props.  Though, despite sporting the speshul rainbow-do, (total impulse buy, BTW), I felt a bit jipped that I seemed to be the owner of the “lesser” fro: the oni fro is a tad larger!!!  Oh wells.

2 Million Users!

Yay hooray!  Pico hits 2 million users~  And with that comes the return of the bow-ties!  And these funny red nose glasses~!!

Awesome cool~  Just when I was requesting a jester outfit to go with the dance.  Fantasmoid!

Coz It’s a Lazy Sunday…

I decided I’d go into Pigg to find the “baka” lord.

Mebbe it was just coz I logged in a little later on in the day, mebbe coz the instance has been out in Pigg longer… but there was a huge difference between the Pigg and Pico Ooku Hallway instances this Saturday afternoon/night…

• It took about 45 min to get into the Pigg instance.  (Yes, due to dinnertime and misc bad timing and general internet hiccups and DCs, I had to re-queue myself about 4 times…) About 5-10 min for Pigg. (Yes I tried just for stats coz I was waiting around for misc household stuff to finish.)
• Pigg peeps talk a whole lot less. Pico peeps are always swearing at each other and using a $#!7-ton of racist/anti-gay lingo.
• More Pico peeps refuse to sit down and start puerile PROPS OR DIE (and I won’t sit down anyways) flame wars.
• You only need to wait about on average 5 mins before the Edo Lord appears.

Lucky for me, the “proper” guy appeared twice, and then the “baka” guy started waltzing down the gangway.

I have still no clue how he’s triggered… seems to be more of a time-based thing rather than a certain number of people based thing or a random thing…

Yay!  Yay!  Finally~~

The Dragonfly, the Edo Lord & the Ghost

Funny… I should get my dragonfly from Nate~ >_<

However, at this point, he’s gotten himself *3*.  Seeing that he can’t trade them in a forum since they are all soulbound… the spares are gonna get recycled!  Huh!

In any case, I’m happy.  Armed with my new accessory, I’m off to brave the annoying rabble that refuse to sit on cushions at Edo palace~

It wasn’t too tooo tooooo bad. Better than I expected.  I seem to find players at 2am Asian time a bit more co-operative than the usual weekend daytime mob.  Co-op things like this make me wish there was a “boot” option like in WoW…

Here he comes~ As an aside, I like that grapes-like bunch of Doreamon-style bells.  Super cute.

Here’s what I don’t understand… Pinkerton from the Picostyle blog posted a pic of this clown-like Emperor… How do you get that fool to appear?

In any case, I was quite enamoured with the super silly Ee Ja Nai Ka dance.  Awesome when used as a taunt~ I went off to the Jokamachi area to get it~ I’d read earlier on a Japanese blog on how to get it, so didn’t lose too much time snapping it up~

For those who are still scratching their heads:

While prancing around… I suddenly managed to get myself the “See a ghost” star.  It hit me completely out of the blue.  At this point, I was still oblivious as to WHERE the ghost was in the instance and HOW to trigger it.  Thanks to Pinkerton tho… the mystery was soon revealed~ (He wrote awesome Edo guides BTW.  Props to the man!! :D )  “Secret” is too look for her during night time for your Pico.  She sticks around for a whiles, so it’s not a blink and you’ll miss her achievement.  There have been reports of her appearing 7-9pm, but I saw her at 2am.  (Yeah, bit of an insomniac.)

So… there she is… looks funnily like my Pico…

Charmed~!

I swear Nate’s account is charmed.  Just as I’m complaining about how he’s gonna get it in the first box he opens today, 2nd round of box openings, he really gets it in the first box.

Edo!

Edo is out!  Having a Pigg account, I’ve already gone and oogled at all the spoilers… so I’m guessing the Pico team are pacing themselves to have certain items trickle in to the game~ It’s nice though that we sometimes get original content before the Pigg peeps…

I always like the Mystery Box designs.  Sometimes I wish you could just have teh box as an item sitting in your room.  Classy design:

I’m really liking the food items also~ Much prettier than the existing Japanese foods. (Which have haunted me since the Nakamise Street gatcha incident. (I *still* don’t have that samurai-hatted doll, BTW!!!)

Of course, I’m coveting the RARE item, which I’m predicting that Nate will get in his account on one of the first two rounds of gifting… Love the Engrish name.

As for the tees… I want one of the dark colored ones on the top row!

But oh look~ Nate already got himself a fish tee on the second box… >_<

Shakes Fist at Maintenance

I have 1 hour of me-time before life takes over again… and Pico is down for maintenance… I really really really wanted to build a train track… waaaaah~  And wait, I can’t even get in to grab a screencap of Niu kicking and screaming.  T_T  Okay.  End rant.

Need a Train Conductor Makeover

Yay~!  Clothes!!  But somehow, I’m not completely gaga over the uniform. It’s funny coz I thought immediately of the Alice Nine outfit.  Military jacket plus cap? Wonder if there is someway to make a cooler/hipper combo… that’s still condutor-ish.

Out of the three I like the green one the best. (I’m a sucker for green…) Though, that said, being Chinese, you’re told never to wear a green hat coz it’s slang for being a cuckold.  It’s a bit more okay for me, since I’m female, but still~~ See Wikipedia for the full explanation and to learn about other colloquial gems! :D

Chugga-Chugga-Choo-Choo

This is one of the first times my jaw dropped when I read about a Pico release.  I was just bragging/complaining over lunch about how I usually construct at least 1 entire new railway system on an almost daily basis for the 4 destructive toddlers I co-habitate with… When whaddaya know?  I can make one in my Pico pad!!  Which makes me utterly want to renovate my entire room~  Nicely done Ameba team, very nicely done!

Dawson seems like such a kindly old man.

Okay… Thomas, Percy or James??  (See, I’m well versed in the works of Rev. Awdry.)  I would choose the red… though I’m not entirely feeling the pink on red…

The theme park is so so cute.  The recent Dice Park was kinda meh, so this is an awesome change.  Plus, we get to test out the carriages before buying, which is a plus.

The greenery is well done~  Very tranquil!  Theo is train-mad in RL. Got all dressed up for this. X9

Mini-me-ing looks really cute.  Alas, we had one pic where we were all mini-med, but noisy rowdy folks kept running into the photo.  Beh.

Exclusive Car Show

I swear I’ve seen a similar car somewhere in some one’s house… Now all you need is another 4 friends who each own the Power Ranger uniform…

When I saw “Car Show” in the Pico announcement, I thought there would be more types of vehicles~~  Oh well~  Mebbe next time~
